PUST*

is an interdisciplinary project exploring the processes of mythologization of a specific historical event — the Belavezha Accords of 1991. The project includes а light installation, dance, sound, multi-channel video, along with found and specially created objects.

Sensuality Elective

Sensuality Elective – is a space of the choice... choice of the consious or spontanious experience. Sensuality is the process of body impression and expression at the same moment. Movements are the communication mode of the body with the space and society too. The “Elective” focuses on the process of impressions study. The “Sensuality” is an everyday process, constant, instant and regular. How is our ordinary body experiencing this? This body process is invisible, but perceptible.

The Light Transition

This Performance is part of the project “Road from the metro” curated by Maria Sarycheva. Light Transitions is a performance-stroll on the transformation pathway from the metro to one’s home. This is the time of the strange condition and indefinite social roles – already not at work, but not yet at home, already not in the public transport, but not yet in the private space... And it continues for some time, while we walk... what do we spend this time for? Who do we speak to?

Special edition for Red Square, on the festival devoted to literature. Grounded on sci-fi novel by Boris and Arkady Strugatsky, what was written in 1965, but first published in USSR only in 1988 because of its content.

Site-specific performance. In frame of celebration of the 70 anniversary of the Victory over fascism took place an exhibition “from the Sovinformburo”, performed documentation of different soviet propaganda approaches. We explored how the action of the real person in real conditions became the feat, myth and got new sense by means of text and media distribution.

Lezginka Today

Winner of the call for proposals "Dialogue of Cultures". The basis idea of our performance is combining two dance styles: traditional lezginka and contemporary dance. The idea of mixing contemporary and traditional choreography beckoned us for a long time. In the realities of Russian reality, Lezginka dance seemed to us the most rich associative and stereotypic load.

Initially we asked ourselves why we need to do art? What fail come short for us in our lives? The idea of lack inspired us. Why we feel the lack of existence? How we try to fill up it?Is it lack of freedom? Or resources? Or allies?... Finally we became in situation lack of understanding between us and our future collaborators. As the work based on correspondence documentation, the idea of lack hidden quite deep. The material expression of lack idea solved in our passion to chocolate.

There are a lot of investigations devoted to transformations of the people bodies lived in metropolises. But the regional town also transforms bodies of its residents. Iron Curtain in Muzeon

23d of February there was an opening of new art-object Iron Curtain in Muzeon. We attempted to understand the track of Cold War in our lifes, considering that it was finished when we went to school. Iron curtain fenced us by colorful soviet carpets off the world of superheroes, monopoly games and sexual revolution. 23d of February no one knew that a week later our troops enter in Crimea.

Points of view is dance performance, created under the impression of constructivism architecture of ZILcultural center. ZIL – plant named by Likhachev. Neither participants nor creators of performance didn’t suspect about it, so we decided to fabricate our own versions of abbreviation expansion, for instance, Rabbit is Looking for Love (Zayac Ischet Lubov). Here is Left History. After all in Beautiful Era of post-modernism it’s pretty hard to resist temptation to interpret it whatever we want.

Waterline

Site-specific performance for ZILCC/ 15.09.2013 Waterline is exoteric performance about women emancipation in modern society. We have keen senses of society pressure which contradicts to the woman nature: woman must get higher education, work from 10 to 7 and solve a lot of serious problems. Take a responsibility for everything! One starts feeling herself as brutal man instead of fragile woman. With the aim to stop this harmful deformation, we decided to feed our woman origin by dint of energy.

He was a Husband for Her

This gallery performance was made for Buonaparte-Media exhibition which was organized by French Institute of 200-year anniversary of Napoleon's expansion in Russia. Napoleon had two passions: Josephine and conquest of the world. Josephine had also two passions: men and botanique. After divorce with Napoleon and exile into country solitary estate she had the opportunity to open herself to her second passion.

Cake with Sense

We have faced the fact that while consuming art, somebody hopes to get back feeling or mood, the most dissatisfied ones are usually looking for sence. Tellingly, coming to the performance it’s impossible to guess, would it make sense or not. And if it would, what it would be? It's like to choose a cake. The Body for Sense and Sense for Body. Bench

Street performance It was show in St-Petersburg and Yaroslavl. Girls on the stroll are common phenomena. Girls are walking on the streets, gardens, parks and resting on the bench from time to time. This is a street performance about girls in habitat. No one suspects that girls at this point bear the burden of responsibility, fashion, morality, and etc…
